This weeks Wednesday Mix Tape comes courtesy of the brilliant Norwegian noise-rock band Årabrot. They have put together a fine collection of tunes for your winter wednesday listening, including tracks from Chrome, Nancy and Lee, Rocket From the Tombs, and the Snivelling Shits.
Årabrot have just released their fifth album, the Steve Albini engineered ‘Solar Anus’ on Fysisk Format records. The album has already notched up an impressive list of kudos: our good friends at The Quietus have said “It’s been a while coming, but Årabrot have finally earned their reputation as one of Europe’s best heavy rock bands.” to cite but one example. For those in the UK, Årabrot will be undertaking a week-long tour starting next Wednesday, October 26th, you can see them at the following dates:
